Thanks to all the beautiful people who came along to our opening last Friday (26th April) – it was a huge success! Our show is on until the 12th May so please come long and check it out, we will be looking after the gallery on the weekends so come in and say hello!

I love the contrast between the greens and purples in this image, it was taken early in the morning. The sun had just come up over the escarpment. I also love the elongation of my figure, I could be four metres tall!

This photo took about twenty tries to get the angle of reflection correct without the camera in the image…it’s not as successful as I hoped.

I got back from a very long road trip and painted this portrait – in retrospect I feel that I may been a little depressed about coming back to the real world. It is quite a dark self portrait, my recent work has been much lighter.
